b) Do you think schools treat bullies too softly? Give two reasons for your point of view (4)
I think that bullying is an area where schools do not know how to punish them. I think that a schools should punish bullies severely because that it the only way to get the message to the bullies that it is wrong. Also, I think that schools should make examples of bullies to show what will happen if one student is mean to another.
Yes I think they do treat it far too softly as bullying is something that should have been eradicated long ago. Everywhere in the word bullying is either seen as something undesirable or a method of building character in rare cases. In places where bullying is not allowed, governing bodies tolerate it far too much because an increasing number of people are being bullied and if the situation was handled properly, bullying would be a thing of the past. Instead, authorities figures do little about the problem and watch as it continues with only very little changes are being put in place.
